Responsible for the daily operation of the Residential Group Home including housekeeping and the purchasing of groceries, house wares, and any other items needed for a clean and comfortable living environment

Promote the mission and vision of the agency in all communications and interactions with individuals, staff, and the referral community
-
Maintain the home in a licensure-ready state, including ensuring documentation is complete, detailed, and in accordance with regulations
-
Develops and maintains positive work relationships with Community Service Boards and other service professionals involved in the planning and treatment of individuals served
-
Assist in conducting assessments and ensuring individual service plans and/or treatment plans are adhered to and in alignment with the needs of each individual
-
Assist and empowers the growth and development of all individuals and staff members
-
Ensure the home functions within its allocated weekly, monthly, and annual budgets
-
Conduct monthly staff meetings to problem-solve and evaluate individual progress and facilitates the incorporation of clinical staff to promote optimal success for each individual
-
Ensures documentation is completed daily according to policy regulation

Ability to problem solve

Ability to utilize conflict resolution techniques and other preventive strategies needed to interpret and respond appropriately to rapidly changing events

Ability to influence, negotiate, instruct, and guide individuals in a way that is beneficial to their success and well-being

Good decision-making and communication skills are necessary

Strong writing and verbal communication skills

Skilled in typing and using word processing software

Skilled in implementing ISP Plans goals

Knowledge of the special needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities
-
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
-
Position requires heavy lifting of more than 50 lbs., standing for long periods of time, and frequent bending and driving wheelchair-accessible vehicles while attending community activities and appointments
