Job Description

Details for IT Support Specialist Position:
- $25 / Hour
- Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pm
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for IT Support Specialist Position:
- Provide technical support for software, hardware, workstations, printers, and network equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and LAN connectivity issues
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and software
- Manage user accounts, access, and system permissions
- Maintain documentation including inventory, configurations, and instructional guides
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security
- Coordinate with vendors for escalated support needs
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for IT Support Specialist Position:
- Degree, certification in computer science/information systems, or equivalent experience preferred
- 1–3 years of technical experience in IT or systems administration preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, MySQL, and LAN/network fundamentals
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, PC hardware, and software troubleshooting
- Experience with system administration, desktop/application support, and issue diagnosis across multiple devices and equipment
- Familiarity with office, e-commerce, manufacturing, warehousing, and accounting software
- Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage time effectively, stay organized, and adapt to changing priorities
- Skilled at identifying when to escalate issues appropriately to team members or vendors
- Capable of working independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to safely lift and move computers and related technology hardware when required
