We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician with a strong controls and electrical systems background to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on various equipment and machinery in our facility. Your expertise in controls and electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring our production processes' smooth operation and maximum efficiency.

- **MUST HAVE ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE (In a Manufacturing environment preferred)**
Job duties for Maintenance Technician (Must Have Experience) position:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system malfunctions promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
- To support production processes, Install, program, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other control systems
- Analyze and interpret technical manuals, electrical and control schematics, and blueprints to effectively diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Continuously monitor and evaluate equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing appropriate modifications or upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations while performing maintenance activities, promoting a safe working environment
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall technical capabilities of the team
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Important Information:
- At least 1+ years of experience in electrical and control
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or vocational training in electrical or control systems is highly desirable
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, strongly emphasizing controls and electrical systems
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to reach and service machinery
- Must be able to inspect machines visually
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk for duration of shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, twist and reach
