Job Description
Do you have painting or sandblasting experience and are you looking for a great position? Luttrell Staffing is currently hiring an Industrial Painter / Sandblaster position in Bardstown, KY.
Details for Industrial Painter / Sandblaster Position: 
- $20-24 / Hour 
- Direct-Hire  - Friday, Saturday & Sunday 5:30am-5pm (OT on Thursday and/or Friday)
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

Job Duties for Industrial Painter / Sandblaster Position: 
- Perform sandblasting to clean and prep surfaces for coating
- Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers
- Inspect surfaces and ensure proper preparation before coating
- Mix and prepare paints and coatings to specifications
- Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely
- Follow safety procedures and use required PPE
- Ensure work meets quality standards and project specs
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with team to meet production deadlines
- Follow all policies and procedures in place 
- Completes any other related tasks as needed 
 
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Industrial Painter / Sandblaster Position: 
- High school diploma or equivalent 
- At least 6 months of experience or training in industrial painting or sandblasting
- Knowledge of surface prep standards and coating applications
- Ability to operate blasting and spray painting equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Familiar with safety regulations and hazardous material handling
- Ability to perform basic math including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
- Must pass respirator medical exam and wear full face respirator for extended periods, must be clean shaven for proper seal
- Ability to stand on ladders for extended periods
- Capable of working in physically demanding conditions including lifting 25–50 lbs, standing, and confined spaces
- Good vision including close, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Use PPE as required
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
