Job Description
Key duties and details for Industrial Sewer:
- Utilize sewing machine to join, gather, hem or reinforce fabric, insulation blanket, sleeving and other materials
- Mechanical set-up and changes to production equipment for all products
- Production equipment and repair as needed, maintain product documentation and ensure in-process product is moved to the next operation in a timely manner
- 1st shift, overtime as needed
- Pay rate: $14/hr
- Temp-to-Hire
- Benefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay)
- Paid weekly
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly organized and have time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to operate forklift or pallet jack
- Must have good manual dexterity
- Must be able to sit, stand and bend at workstation for an 8-12 hour period
