Job Description

Do you have knowledge of banking and finance? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring for Insurance | Customer Service position in Dandridge.
*Increase in pay and excellent benefits package upon being hired full-time*
Key duties and details for Insurance | Customer Service:
  • Insurance clerk, finance and banking
  • Schedule: 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday
  • Pay rate: $20/hr based on experience.
  • Temp-to-Hire
  • Benefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay)
  • Paid weekly
  • Learning and understanding company insurance products Answering calls and responding to customer complaints
  • Accessing customer accounts and policy schedules
  • Providing customers with detailed information about policies and products
  • Recommending available products
  • Ability to work with and understand clients and work with them directly when a policy needs to be initiated or upgraded
  • Typing up complaint reports
  • Managing the customer complaint database
Qualifications for Insurance | Customer Service:
  • Must have one year of insurance clerk experience
  • Banking and finance experience
  • Sales Experience
  • Diploma/GED
  • Previous experience working as a customer service representative in the insurance or financial markets
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules 
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of database software
  • High-level typing skills
  • Advance knowledge of telephone and call forwarding systems
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to explain detailed policy concepts in a simple way
