Job Description
Do you have landscaping/horticulture experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Horticulturist | Landscaper in Bland, VA.
*This is a Direct-Hire position*
Key duties and details for Horticulturist | Landscaper:
- Care for lawns and plants using a variety of tools, including rakes, saws, shovels, trimmers, axes and pruning saws
- Pruning and trimming trees and shrubs, and weeding, mulching and aerating
- Fertilize lawns and plants, keep flower beds clean, clean walkways and monitor garden monitoring systems
- Maintain greenhouse room, provide daily care to greenhouse plants and inspect plant material for disease and insect problems
- Salary: $27k-30k
- Direct-Hire position
Qualifications for Horticulturist | Landscaper:
- Proven work experience as a landscaper/horticulturist (2-3 years)
- Prefer experience with fountains and ponds
- Must be able to operate maintenance equipment (lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers)
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance
- Highly organized
- Attention to detail
- Diploma/GED
