Details for Lead Fabricator positions:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- $22 - $25 / hour with $1,000 sign on bonus
- 2nd shift, 3:45pm-12:15am
Can you see yourself in this Lead Fabricator position:
- Fabrication/welding and learning of machine designs and components for initial months
- Lead and coordinate fabrication, welding, and component assembly tasks
- Monitor team mate performance and offer teaching moments
- Assure quality of manufactured and assembled items
- Remain on target with operational schedules and company objectives
- Communicate with peers to maximize work flow efficiencies
- Maintain a safe working environment free of hazards and equipment concerns
- Assure team mates are motivated and engaged in their work efforts
- Other duties as assigned
These skills make you a good candidate:
- Minimum of 4 years of fabrication experience with various metals
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Good leadership and problem-solving skills
- Prepare work plans and fabrication layouts
- Analyze and resolve work issues on the shop floor regarding production and safety
- Read and understand drawings
- Proficient in welding and fabrication skills
- Working knowledge of saw, shear, drill press, forklift and overhead crane are all a plus
- Hand dexterity
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
