Job Description
Do you have experience with multi-state dealer licensing and compliance tools and looking for a fresh start? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Licensing and Compliance Specialist positions in Johnson City, TN.
   
   
Details for Licensing and Compliance Specialist position: 
- $25 – 35 / Hour
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire 
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

Job Duties for Licensing and Compliance Specialist: 
- Manage manufacturer and dealer licenses across all states including renewals filings and surety bonds
- Coordinate licensing for ~100 retail locations with sales teams on state requirements
- Maintain a state-by-state licensing matrix for boats UTVs and golf carts
- Oversee a centralized compliance calendar to prevent lapses and missed renewals
- Process new dealer license applications to support timely store openings
- Act as primary contact for state regulators DMV DOR and licensing agencies
- Partner with Finance on surety bonds dealer plates and sales tax registrations
- Track regulatory changes and communicate impacts to leadership
- Maintain organized records for all licenses bonds and compliance documentation
- Follow all policies and procedures in place 
- Assist with additional tasks as needed 
 
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Licensing and Compliance Specialist: 
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in automotive powersports marine RV or manufactured housing industries
- Familiarity with multi-state dealer licensing and compliance tools
- 2 plus years in licensing regulatory compliance or dealer operations
- Strong organization skills to manage high volume renewals and deadlines
- Comfortable using state agency portals and online government filing systems
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation practices
- Able to interpret state regulations and turn them into clear action steps
- Ability to sit for duration of shift
