Job Description

Are you ready to make a splash this summer with a cool job? Luttrell Staffing Group, in partnership with The Kingsport Aquatic Center, is currently hiring Lifeguard positions. High school students are encouraged to apply for this exciting opportunity to work in a fun environment!

 Key duties and details for Lifeguard:
  • $11.25+ / Hour
  • Part-Time | Temp-to-Hire
  • Opportunity for Full-Time and Higher Pay
  • Maintain a lifeguard station and adhere to the safety of all patrons
  • Monitors activities at the pool to prevent accidents
  • Practices preventative lifeguard measures and performs water rescues
  • Administer First Aid/ CPR/AED as necessary
 
Qualifications for Lifeguard:
  • Must be 15 years of age or older
  • CPR certified
  • Knowledge of general aquatic operating policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of modern first aid and water safety techniques
  • Ability to effectively respond in the event of an emergency
 
All lifeguard positions require American Red Cross certification (CPR, First Aid, AED, and Lifeguard), which must be renewed every two years. Not certified? Let us know, and we can help arrange a training class **FREE OF CHARGE!**
