Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring Part-Time Assembly Set-Up Technician positions Telford, TN.
Details for Part-Time Assembly Set-Up Technician Position:
- $35 / Hour
- Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am to 7:00pm 
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks

Job Duties for Part-Time Assembly Set-Up Technician:
- Assist in training new employees with the Engineering department by introducing them to the team, reviewing department functions, and covering all safety precautions including chemical use on the production line
- Train new employees on material flow, the production schedule, work instructions (runners), and checklists, and sign all employees in and out of every job in AS400
- Maintain the MRD database with daily entries for defective materials and support machine change‑overs by completing setup, checklists, and label printing, ensuring proper machine setup and correct materials are used
- Complete checklists for each order, print all required labels and license plates, and perform end‑of‑shift cleanliness checks including walk‑through inspections to verify cleanliness, shadow boards, and proper organization
- Maintain 5S across the production floor, address and correct any issues, and work with Material Handling to ensure the next job is ready without disruption to the production line
- Escalate issues to the appropriate department as needed, manage the daily MDI board, troubleshoot and contact Engineering or Maintenance when required, and track hourly production and complete end‑of‑shift production and downtime reports as needed
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures at all times
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Job Requirements and Desired Skills for Part-Time Assembly Set-Up Technician:
- Minimum 1 year related work experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong leadership skills with ability to lead, motivate, and qualify production workers to meet daily production goals and resolve issues by understanding team members’ capabilities
- Experience using AS400 and completing required documentation such as production tracking, stock transit tickets, and MRB tracking entries
- Mechanical aptitude, ability to follow instructions, and make sound decisions independently with good attendance and in‑depth knowledge of department processes
- Must have received specialized training from the Engineering department, be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds, and stand or move around on concrete floors for most of the workday
- Basic math and reading skills
- Hand dexterity
