Job details for Grinding Operator | Manufacturing:
  • 1st shift
  • Starting pay rate $15/hour
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision and Term-Life Insurance Benefits
  • Paid weekly, direct deposit available

Job Duties for Grinding Operator | Manufacturing: 

  • Operate grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts to specifications  

  • Set up and adjust grinding equipment including mounting wheels and calibrating settings  

  • Inspect workpieces for quality using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers  

  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing worn wheels and cleaning machines  

  • Maintain clean and safe work area while following safety protocols 

  • Follow all policies and safety procedures in place 

  • Completes any other related tasks as needed 

 
Job requirements for Grinding Operator | Manufacturing:
  • Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend and twist
  • Steel toes are required
