Job Description
Are you used to working in a cold environment and looking for a great opportunity? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Dryer Operator | Heavy Lifter positions in Grand Prairie, TX.
Details for Dryer Operator | Heavy Lifter Position:
· $14.50 / Hour
· 2nd Shift
· Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Dryer Operator | Heavy Lifter Position:
· Load and unload raw materials into dryers or onto feed conveyors according to customer specs
· Stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending
· Lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs or platforms multiple times during the shift
· Work in a wet, cold, and noisy environment around 36°F
· Push and pull barrels on roller decks and safely operate hoists and dryers
· Transfer product baskets in and out of dryers and ensure proper flow from shaker to production line
· Handle product maintained at 32–36°F
· Work up to 6 consecutive days with overtime or weekends as needed
· Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
· Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Dryer Operator | Heavy Lifter Position:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
· Attention to detail
· Basic math skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Must have a team player attitude
· Capable of working in a cold (34 degrees F) and wet environment
· Able to work in a fast-paced setting
· Perform repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending throughout the shift
