Job Description
Are you looking for a new manufacturing opportunity with weekly pay? Luttrell Staffing Group has several great opportunities and currently hiring Production | Machine Operator | Manufacturing positions in Kingsport, TN.
   
   
Details for Production | Machine Operator | Manufacturing Positions: 
- $16-16.75 / Hour (Based on Shift)
- 12 Hour Shift
- Train on Day Shift and Move to Night Shift
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire 
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

Job Duties for Production | Machine Operator | Manufacturing Positions: 
- Operate and adjust machinery to support production processes according to specifications and standards
- Monitor equipment performance and product quality throughout the production cycle
- Identify and document nonconforming products, recording operational and quality data, and communicate issues to appropriate personnel
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues, and assist with repairs to ensure minimal downtime
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and technical teams for advanced repairs or machine adjustments
- Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and company guidelines including cleanliness and proper handling of materials and waste
- Record materials and ingredients used and performance data
- Maintain efficient workflow and production rates to meet operational targets
- Keep work areas organized and maintain accurate production and maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to resolve production challenges and support shift transitions
- Follow established workplace policies and safety procedures consistently
- Perform additional related duties as assigned 
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Production | Machine Operator | Manufacturing Positions: 
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in food manufacturing machinery is a plus 
- Mechanical aptitude with experience operating and maintaining bagging or packaging equipment
- Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and manufacturing safety protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment maintenance
- Strong attention to detail for quality and efficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in hot temperatures
- Wear PPE as required
- Ability to stand for duration of shift 
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs 
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
