Job Description
Do you have manufacturing experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Tourret Machine Operator positions in Knoxville, TN.
Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: $18.00 – $21.50 (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities for Tourret Machine Operator:
- Inspect print and seam quality throughout production.
- Remove defective material and splice roll web to spec.
- Use hand tools such as a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch as needed.
- Handle and palletize rolls without causing damage.
- Identify basic print and seam defects.
- Record and input data accurately into production forms
- Support special projects and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications for Tourret Machine Operator:
- Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to use simple Windows-based computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
- Physically able to:
- Stand for extended periods
- Walk frequently
- Use hands and arms for handling materials
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have good close-range vision
