Looking for a maintenance position that offers weekly pay? Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring Industrial Maintenance | Lumber Mill positions in Roan Mountain, TN. 
   
   
Details for Industrial Maintenance | Lumber Mill position:

Job duties for Industrial Maintenance | Lumber Mill:  
- Lead and coordinate maintenance team to reduce downtime and keep mill operations running
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Inspect, maintain, and repair saws, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and other equipment
- Plan and schedule maintenance downtime with mill management and prioritize repairs
- Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place 
- Completes any other related tasks as needed  
  
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Industrial Maintenance | Lumber Mill:  
- High school diploma or equivalent 
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in sawmill or wood products environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and electrical systems (480V 3-phase)
- Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and manage multiple priorities
- Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication abilities
- Experienced in PLC troubleshooting and controls
- Millwright or Industrial Maintenance certification or equivalent training
- Welding and fabrication experience including stick, MIG, torch, or plasma
- Able to work in noisy, dusty, and hot industrial conditions around moving machinery
- Flexible to work weekends or after-hours during critical repairs or shutdowns
- Ability to read measurements and follow written or verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs 
- Use of PPE as required 
- Ability to stand for duration of shift   
- Ability to stoop, climb, squat, bend, kneel, twist and reach
