    • 1st Shift: 7am-3:10pm | Monday-Friday
    • 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:10pm | Monday-Friday
    • 3rd Shift: 11pm-7:10pm | Monday-Friday

Can you see yourself in this Line Operator | Machine / Header Operator position:
  • Operate and monitor multiple CNC machines used in automotive wheel bearing production
  • Start-up and shut-down machines
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust machines in grinding, assembly, or broach and turning line
  • Supply components to hoppers, indexing poles, or conveyor
  • Change worn machine accessories using hand tools
  • Visually inspect and sort defective parts
  • Measure components with precision instruments to ensure they meet requirements
  • Troubleshoot machine alarms and take appropriate action
  • Record quality inspection data and production information
  • Enter inventory transactions using Bar Code Inventory system
  • Perform machine preventative maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

These skills make you a good candidate:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of computerized machines, gauges, and hand tools
  • General knowledge of material handling, manufacturing processes, quality control systems
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Respond promptly to a sound or light signal when it occurs
  • Concentrate on a task over several minutes without being distracted
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
