Details for Logistics Manager positions:
- Full-Time
- Direct Hire
- 8:30am-5pm
- $100,000 - $110,000 / year
Duties for Logistics Manager positions:
- Responsible for directing and coordinating all internal and external Logistics related activities of the plant
- Direct and control shipping, receiving, warehouse and material handling activities and ensure a safe work environment
- Manage, hire, lead, motivate and train personnel in the Logistics Department
- Review current and future workload in order to plan work activities and adjust capacities and department structure
- Coordinate activities of the Logistics Department in conjunction with Sales, Customer Service and Purchasing Departments
- Ensure all material movement activities and transactions are performed accurately and timely
- Lead Continuous Improvement activities in the Logistics Department
- Maintain ISO 9001 manuals and prepare and manage departmental budget
- Coordinate Customs Compliance, including NAFTA certificates
- Other duties as needed
Can you see yourself in this position?
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required and minimum five years manufacturing experience
- Experience in Lean Production and Continuous Improvement
- Experience in ERP implementation projects
- Knowledge of and ability to use software systems such as MAC-PAC, Sequel, Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to sit, walk or stand for duration of shift
- Ability to bend stoop, squat, kneel, twist and reach
