Looking for steady hours and a place to put your skills to work? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Brake Press Operator positions in Rockford, TN.
Details for Brake Press Operator Position:
- $18/hour base pay + shift differential after training
- Monday-Wednesday, 5am-5p; Thursday 5p-10:30pm
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (90-day introductory) | Possible Overtime!

Job Duties for Brake Press Operator Position:
- Operate specific sheet metal machines (Press Brake, Deburr, PEM, Shear, Timesaver, Blast Cabinet) to produce parts under some supervision of a more highly skilled Sheet Metal fabricator
- Measure and verify basic dimensions and tolerances on completed parts using measurement tools
- Document labor and material transactions using ERP computer system
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Qualifications for Brake Press Operator Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Wear personal protective equipment such as safety goggles and gloves
- Around different types of chemicals
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time; walk, bend or stoop; be able to lift and carry parts and materials to and from the sheet metal machines
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
