Job Duties for Machine Operator | Manufacturing position: 

• Operate/monitor injection, compression molding, and thermal processing equipment while maintaining quality standards 

• Load materials, adjust machine settings, and conduct post-shift cleaning following 5s methodology 

• Inspect products for defects (short shots, splay, deformation) and verify measurements 

• Document production output accurately and complete all required paperwork 

• Report quality issues, equipment defects, safety concerns, or unsafe acts to leadership 

• Maintain workspace organization and ensure parts are stored in sealed containers post-shift 

• Communicate process details to replacement operators during shift changes 

• Assist leads with production area setup and second operations (drilling, sandblasting, welding) 

• Operate injection and compression molding machines plus secondary equipment like drills, sandblasters, files, cutters, and sonic welders 

• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place 

• Completes any other related tasks as needed 

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Machine Operator | Manufacturing position: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• No experience needed - training provided! 

• Wear PPE as required 

• Clear English reading and writing skills with basic math proficiency (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation) 

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong willingness to learn 

• Required vision abilities include close vision and depth perception 

• Ability to stand for duration of shift 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
