Job Description
Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Machine Operator positions in Santa Maria, CA.
Details for Machine Operator position:
· $19-20 / Hour
· Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
· Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

Job Duties for Machine Operator:
· Operate and adjust various machines to produce quality parts as per specifications while maintaining a safe work environment
· Simultaneously manage multiple machines and perform basic daily maintenance
· Investigate and report repetitive issues, proposing solutions for improvement
· Collaborate with departments like Engineering and Quality, document work in the ERP system, and adhere to company policies and safety standards
· Maintain a clean workstation and strive for continual quality improvement
· Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
· Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Machine Operator:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1 year of previous manufacturing experience (aerospace, defense, automation, etc.)
· Basic math, reading, and writing skills required
· Experience in production and quality control methods (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.) preferred
· Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation and production systems helpful
· Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
· Ability to stand for duration of shift
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
