Details for Machine Production Line Operator position:      

• $18-20 / Hour     

• Weekly Pay      

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

• Work is performed around moving mechanical parts in a typically very loud environment, and processing areas may be dusty, dirty, and wet at times   

• Facilities are heated in winter; however, employees may experience cold conditions during winter and hot conditions during summer   

Duties for Machine Production Line Operator position:       

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently to maintain continuous production and product quality 

• Troubleshoot basic machine issues, clear or prevent jams, and report maintenance needs promptly 

• Weigh finished materials and accurately document production data, material weights, downtime, and quality concerns 

• Communicate safety, quality, production, and equipment issues to the shift lead, Production Manager, or maintenance team 

• Follow all safety procedures and required personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines 

• Coordinate workflow with co-workers and material handlers to support efficient process flow 

• Assist with material handling and sorting duties as needed 

• Follow all policies and procedures in place     

• Completes any other related tasks as needed     

Requirements and Desired Skills for Machine Production Line Operator position:      

• High school diploma or equivalent   

• Basic troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and math skills 

• Experience operating conveyor-fed machinery or working with recycled materials preferred 

• Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment 

• Understanding of production process flow and ability to direct machine-related operations 

• Strong organization skills and ability to stay on task with minimal supervision 

• Ability to communicate respectfully and work effectively with team members 

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds multiple times per day and perform frequent climbing, bending, crouching, stooping, reaching, and writing tasks 

• Ability to work safely around loud machinery while wearing required PPE, including hearing protection, hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, dust mask, and high-visibility clothing 

• Ability to stand for duration of shift   

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
