Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Maintenance Electrical Technician positions for a client in Chilhowie, VA.   
Details for Maintenance Electrical Technician Position:
· $60k-65k / Year

Job Duties for Maintenance Electrical Technician Position:
· Maintain a safe, functional work environment through electrical expertise
· Troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical systems to support manufacturing
· Apply knowledge of materials, production processes, machines, and tools for effective maintenance
· Review production, quality, and safety issues to identify root causes and solutions
· Schedule and oversee work performed by outside technicians or contractors
· Respond to machinery breakdowns and monitor repair progress for safety and efficiency
· Communicate maintenance needs with supervisors and team members
· Arrive early to inspect the plant and start up equipment as needed
· Monitor silo wood waste and coordinate removal as required
· Maintain dust extraction and compressed air systems to meet standards
· Manage spare parts inventory and purchasing
· Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and controller issues
· Maintain and update preventive maintenance schedules
· Oversee building maintenance, inside and out
· Use basic computer programs such as Excel and Word
· Model and uphold company core values
· Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
· Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Maintenance Electrical Technician Position:
· Associate’s or technical degree – or equivalent work experience of 5 years or more.
· Associate degree or technical training preferred; 5+ years equivalent experience accepted
· Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, safety practices, and workplace policies
· Ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical maintenance and repair activities
· Experience leading maintenance employees and contractors to ensure safe, efficient production
· Ability to stand for duration of shift and lift up to 50lbs
· Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
