Details for Maintenance Technician position:
- $22-26 / Hour
- Monday-Friday; 8 Hour Shift (Occasional Overtime)
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Maintenance Technician:
- Set up and operate processes and equipment for maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
- Perform basic mechanical and maintenance tasks such as painting, parts cleaning, plumbing, and electrical work
- Conduct building maintenance including equipment installation, layout, and limited design
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including energized systems when necessary
- Layout and fabricate large projects
- Conduct inspections and testing prioritizing personnel safety
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the Maintenance Area
- Assist with special assignments from the Department Manager or designee
- Collaborate effectively as a team player
- Train colleagues on Safety, Equipment Operations, and Standard Work Instructions
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Maintenance Technician:
- Previous experience in related position
- Technical School certificate and relevant manufacturer certifications (e.g. Allen Bradley)
- Proficient in reading prints, wiring schematics, and line diagrams
- Knowledge of programmable controllers and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Skills in welding and large project layouts
- Equipment knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and air-powered hand tools, multimeters, welders, forklifts (FPTC training/certification required), overhead hoists, and manlifts
- In-house training includes General Company Orientation, Safety Training, Forklift Certification, ISO 9001 Orientation, and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. Training plan may be established for candidates who do not meet all requirements.
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
