Job Description
Do you have construction field mechanic experience? We are currently hiring Construction Field Mechanic positions in Santa Maria, CA.
  
  
Details for Construction Field Mechanic position:
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
- Fast Start Date
- Weekly Pay
- $30-$50/hr
Job duties for Construction Field Mechanic:
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all company-owned equipment
- Daily fuel, oil, grease, and safety inspect all operated equipment
- Perform daily maintenance and necessary repairs without supervision
- Perform scheduled maintenance without supervision
- Perform and oversee all major equipment repairs (including record keeping)
- Maintain service truck and yard area in a clean, safe and organized manner
- Prepare and maintain all required documentation for hazmat inspections, CARB, etc
- Prepare timecards, work orders, invoices, repairs, delivery, and document inspection reports.
- Manage the daily responsibilities of the Mechanic’s Helper
Qualifications for Construction Field Mechanic:
- Prior experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
- A sound understanding of safety guidelines
- Valid California driver’s license
- Forklift certificate
- Participation in the DMV Pull program and an insurable driving record
- Basic computer skills (word, excel, email, etc.)
- Class A driver’s license
