Details for Maintenance Technician position:

Job Duties for Maintenance Technician:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Install, test, and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems
- Perform welding fabrication, and minor machine repairs as needed
- Maintain facility equipment, including HVAC, compressed air systems, lighting, and plumbing
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance in maintenance logs or CMMS
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Complete any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school certification or industrial maintenance training preferred
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment
- Basic understanding of PLCs and automated manufacturing equipment preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience a plus
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, walk and reach
