Job Description
Do you have maintenance experience? Sierra Employment is currently hiring Maintenance Technician Associate positions in Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Details for Maintenance Technician Associate Position:
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

- Hourly Wage: $21/hr–$22/hr
Job Duties for Maintenance Technician Associate:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Assist with the upkeep of grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and general cleaning
- Maintain and repair equipment and tools, ensuring they are in safe working condition
- Assist with renovation and remodeling projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of maintenance supplies
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician Associate:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training is a plus
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift
- Frequently carry, lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
- Regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear
- Specific vision abilities required (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus)
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments; noise level is usually moderate to high
- Typical equipment used includes hand tools, power tools, shovels, and computers
