Overview
This role is responsible for performing maintenance on production equipment, support equipment, and the facility
with the objective of ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
In this role the individual is accountable for providing technical support, implementing proactive issue resolution,
and performing reactive issue resolution. All while practicing good communication, organization, and promoting
safety policies/regulations.
General duties include inspection, preventative maintenance, repair, component installation, troubleshooting,
adjustment, maintaining records, and other duties as assigned.
Job Duties
Monitor safety standards and complete inspections of all equipment.
Perform repair and preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Carry out electrical and mechanical work as required to ensure equipment operates reliably.
Used schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
Perform repair and preventative maintenance on the facility (utility, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
Implement and maintain spare parts, assets, and maintenance record keeping system(s).
Assist maintenance personnel with maintenance duties, as required.
Overhaul equipment, as required.
Rebuild and/or fabricate parts and tools, as required.
Install new equipment, as required.
Prepare project plans and project status reports, as required.
Coordinate, liaise, and supervise contracted work, as required.
Assist with installation capital project(s) electrical and mechanical systems in a safe, timely, and competent
manner.
Keep work area clean and organized, complying with established 5S standards.
Consistently maintain company safety policies, adhering to OSHA regulations.
Participate in various lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
2 years, or more, maintenance experience.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
Must meet deadlines, be able to prioritize assignments, and adapt to changes in priority.
Good judgment, and problem-solving skills.
High integrity and ethical standards.
Team focused individual who works productively and independently.
Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
Work appropriate clothing and safety toe shoes/boots.
Must be able to lift 55lbs and be on your feet for 10 hours a day.
Must be able to work overtime and be on-call, as required.
