Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring a Control Equipment Technician | Maintenance position in Cleveland, TN.
SUMMARY:
Troubleshoots, tests and repairs electronic controls and related electro-mechanical, electro-hydraulic or computerized devices on production equipment.
Job Requirements for Control Equipment Technician | Maintenance:
· Trade/Vocational, High School graduate or equivalent. Some formal training courses beyond high school including electronics and technical preferred
· Two years industrial job related experience
· Ability to do heavy lifting (50 to 75 lbs.)
· HS Diploma or GED Required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Electro-Mechanical Background with a focus on Electrical Troubleshooting
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment including but not limited to programable controls (PLC knowledge strongly preferred), drives, power supplies and testing equipment.
· Be able to read electrical schematics and drawings to confirm electrical equipment is working as intended
· Experienced with Volt-Ohm Meters and other electrical troubleshooting equipment
· Familiar with machine guarding and safety equipment and proper return to service after work
· Demonstrates a high level of safety consciousness and awareness of potential hazards in the work environment
· Experience/Comfortable working with up to 480V electricity
· Ensure PM process is followed and addressed in timely manner if equipment errors are found
· Computer knowledge for desktop operation and application software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Able to communicate effectively with other associates as well as vendors/customers individually or in a team environment
· Experience with Forklifts and MEWP’s (Scissor Lift/Boom Lift) preferred but not required
