Job Description
Do you have industrial maintenance experience? Luttrell Staffing Group in partnership with Franklin Precision Industry, FPI, is currently hiring Maintenance Technician positions in Franklin, KY.
Details for Maintenance Technician position:
- $23-$33 / Hour (Based on experience) plus .75 shift differential
- 2nd & 3rd Shift Opportunities
- Full-Time | Direct Hire
Job Duties for Maintenance Technician:
- Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical
- systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties.
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machines and equipment
- Dismantle faulty equipment and install new or repaired parts
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication
- Install and repair electrical and electronic components, wiring, and systems
- Assemble and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment
- Installs programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or
- programmable controllers
- Operate welding equipment for metal fabrication
- Safely operate and work from overhead equipment including scissors lift, and cherry picker
- Operate basic machine shop equipment including lathes, drills, grinders, etc
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work safely around large tonnage presses, high heat furnaces, and high-speed robot
- equipment
- Ability work safely in confined spaces using appropriate PPE
- Aware and understand environmental requirements for handling, storing and disposal of waste
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs on rare occasions
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
