Job duties of Hotel Maintenance:
- Assist with operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment
- Maintain physical structure and grounds of the hotel property
- Participate in preventative maintenance program
- Handle guest requests and work orders
- Perform trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Ensure safe and efficient work
- Develop excellent service skills in dealing with clients, guests, and co-workers
- Clean, test pool, and spa chemicals routinely and maintain logs
Job Requirements for the Hotel Maintenance position:
- High School diploma or equivalent (copy needed)
- Obtain and maintain required licenses or certificates
- Knowledge of machines, tools, and equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Effective communication with guests and staff
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Long hours may be required
- Heavy lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently or constantly
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Reach overhead, utilize both hands, bend over, stoop, and kneel
- Operate maintenance equipment, including indoor pool system
- Capable of climbing and descending stairs during shift
