Details for Packaging Machine Operator Position:   

• $17-17.50 / Hour  

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Packaging Machine Operator Position:   

• Operate assigned packaging equipment safely and efficiently while meeting quality standards 

• Inspect codes, dates, seals, oxygen levels, and settings to ensure proper operation 

• Set up and achieve complete startup of packaging machines independently 

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance as needed 

• Support training and assist other PMOs and technicians on the floor 

• Collaborate on testing and implementing new products and process improvements 

• Ensure quality products and accurate documentation are maintained 

• Communicate and direct team members effectively 

• Complete Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate (CIL) procedures regularly 

• Participate in one-on-one reviews and skill development training 

• Follow all policies, safety rules, and successfully complete required safety and operator training 

• Completes any other related tasks as needed  

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Packaging Machine Operator Position:   

• High school diploma or equivalent   

• Bilingual English/Spanish 

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability 

• Physically capable of lifting up to 45 lbs and performing hands-on tasks 

• Comfortable working on feet for long periods and navigating stairs or platforms 

• Adaptable to cold, wet, and noisy production environments 

• Reliable with flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
