Job Description
Do you have supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Manufacturing Supervisor positions in Santa Maria, CA.
Details for Manufacturing Supervisor position:
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- $25.50 to $30.00/HR plus a $1.50 shift differential
- Occasional Overtime
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

Job Duties for Manufacturing Supervisor:
- Support the Manufacturing Manager by leading daily production execution and frontline team coordination
- Ensure work is performed safely, on time, and according to standard work
- Focus on daily oversight, issue detection, basic containment, training execution, and escalation to protect quality and delivery
- Assist in overseeing and assigning technician schedules, prioritizing shop orders, and monitoring team morale
- Conduct individual check-ins, goal tracking, and performance reviews
- Assign and document required training for manufacturing technicians
- Maintain accurate training records and support skill development initiatives to meet production and safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments, field questions, provide solutions, and make daily announcements to ensure smooth workflow and communication across the organization
- Ensure work environments are prepared and maintained before and after shifts, anticipate and prevent shortages or downtime, and verify all work conforms to written work instructions and quality standards
- Understand, fully support, and demonstrate company’s mission statement, core values, and operating principles in all actions and decisions
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Manufacturing Supervisor:
- High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Effective leadership and communication abilities
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) with bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
