Details for Manufacturing Technician | Direct Hire position:
- Direct Hire
- Full-Time
- $20/hr, .50 increase every 6 months to target rate of $22/hr within 24 months
- Must be able to work any shift, overtime and weekends
Can you see yourself in this Manufacturing Technician | Direct Hire position?
- Operation and set-up of various machinery and shop equipment such as manual lathes, engravers, presses, mills, furnaces, automated welding, painting booths and/or engine lathes
- Use and read inspection gaging equipment
- Inspection of product both in process and post process
- Screening of product lots
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Fabricate quality product
- Perform rework
- Collect and analyze data
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
- Load and transport materials
- Other duties as required
Do you have the Skills and Knowledge needed for this position?
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year previous related work experience required
- Experience in quality and engineering required
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work well alone or in a team environment
- Industrial background in fabrication is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, twist, kneel and reach

Heather began her Luttrell Staffing career in September 2009 working one of our West Virginia accounts part-time. In July of the next year she moved to our Johnson City office as an Admin Assistant and then, soon after, a Staffing Manager. After several years of strong service, Heather was promoted to the role of Branch Manager in early 2016. She has a BS degree in Psychology and Sociology from ETSU. In February 2018 Heather obtained her PHR in Human Resources.
