Job Description
Are you looking for an excellent weekend position and have engineering experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Tech | Weekends positions in Telford, TN.
Perks and Benefits:
- $44 / Hour
- Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am to 7:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks
- Part-Time
- Weekends ONLY!
- Temp-to-Hire
- Zero fees – never pay for background checks or drug screens
- Eligible for 401(k) and profit sharing after conversion with 1,000 hours/year
Job Duties for Manufacturing Engineering Tech | Weekends:
- Support the development and implementation of standardized processes, policies, and procedures across the plant
- Create, update, and maintain work instructions
- Conduct research, collect data, and prepare daily reports
- Collaborate with engineers to design, build, test, and improve technical solutions
- Participate in and lead small projects focused on process improvement
- Perform audits of standard processes and apply continuous improvement tools to enhance efficiency
- Coordinate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives
- Design and produce necessary signs and markings for production and safety needs
- Utilize various software programs including MAC-PAC, Nutech, SAPME, AutoCAD, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, Confluence, SolidWorks, and Word
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements and Desired Skills for Manufacturing Engineering Tech | Weekends:
- Associate degree in a related field, or a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, or related software
- Strong experience with AS400 and/or SAP systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
