Job Description
Do you have production experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Expeditor | Production Assistant positions in Suffolk, VA.
Details for Expeditor | Production Assistant position:
- $16.75 / Hour
- Multiple Shifts Available
- 6am-2pm
- 2pm-12am
- Occasional Overtime
- Full-Time
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
- Training provided
Job duties for Expeditor | Production Assistant:
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Operate pallet jacks, banders, and stretch wrappers
- Perform machine setup according to the required product specifications
- Monitor pallet construction and packaging
- Perform regular quality checks (function and quality output)
- Troubleshoot machinery and perform minor maintenance as needed
- Maintain clean and organized workspace
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and desired skills for Expeditor | Production Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of prior experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to read measurements
- Strong attention to detail and communication in team or independent tasks
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures (freezing-100F)
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
