Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Materials Planning Manager | Supply Chain positions in Campbellsville, KY.

Job Duties for Materials Planning Manager | Supply Chain Position:
- Plan and schedule material deliveries to ensure component availability and avoid production downtime
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer service and inventory targets
- Procure production, inventory, and MRO items in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Analyze requisitions, select suppliers, and onboard new suppliers as needed
- Maintain accurate ABC classification and key planning data
- Ensure optimal inventory and safety stock levels for assigned parts
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve supplier quality issues
- Proactively identify and manage shortages, root causes, and corrective actions
- Analyze total cost, cash flow, and supplier replenishment opportunities
- Expedite deliveries and resolve delivery issues in coordination with production planners
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, escalating issues as needed
- Resolve invoicing discrepancies with suppliers and accounting
- Analyze material and capacity to provide accurate customer promise dates
- Maintain item master lead time and update based on process improvements and demand
- Communicate forecasts and replenishment plans to suppliers
- Review open requirements, monitor vendor performance, and expedite as necessary
- Identify and implement cost reduction and productivity projects, maintaining records for reporting
- Follow all policies and procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Materials Planning Manager | Supply Chain Position:
- BNBS degree or 5+ years minimum planner/buyer manufacturing experience
- APICS (CPIM) or NAPM (CPM) or Purchasing Management certification preferred
- Minimum two years of related experience required
- Strong knowledge of industry supply base and supplier processes
- Proficient with MRPII and Microsoft Office
- Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing
- Familiar with rate-based, flow line, and job shop manufacturing
- Knowledge of visual management systems
- Able to train and guide peers
- Solid basic math skills
