Job Description
Are you a strong multitasker who enjoys problem-solving? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Engineering Material Coordinator positions in Roanoke, VA.
Details for Engineering Material Coordinator position:

Job Duties for Engineering Material Coordinator position:
- Define, track, and report project materials per drawings to align with production schedules
- Verify material orders/deliveries and confirm receipt to meet project timelines
- Maintain and update Materials Status Tracking log for Project Management/Sales updates
- Create workorders, link required materials to DOM on drawings, and assist with work order changes
- Assist engineering in keeping projects on schedule and participate in weekly project meetings
- Support project reviews, kick-offs, and communicate updates to Project Manager/team
- Collaborate with Project Engineering Manager on departmental policies, procedures, and tracking improvements
- Follow all safety protocols and policies
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Engineering Material Coordinator position:
- Associates degree preferred
- 5-10 years of prior experience
- Strong time management, multitasking, and stress management abilities
- In-depth understanding of product lifecycle from purchase order to completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication with teamwork skills
- Effective problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to sit for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb, and reach
