Job duties and details for Mechanic:
- Chassis mechanic
- Performing repair and assembly work on shipping container
- Use a variety of hand tools and equipment
- Pay rate: $18/hr
- 1st Shift
- Temp-to-Hire
- Paid weekly
Qualifications for Mechanic:
- Must have experience with air brakes (knowing the purpose of air used on brake chambers and drum brake)
- Must have electrical experience (know what ground/neutral/hot is and know how to trace wire and find short)
- A to detail
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools and air tools
- Hand dexterity
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
