Details for Mechanical Assembly positions:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- 2nd Shift
- Pay rate: $19/hr
Can you see yourself in this Mechanical Assembly position?
- Responsible for performing a variety of operations to assembly parts and components necessary in the manufacturing of equipment
- Use a variety of hand tools, power driven tools and common equipment
- Properly fit and align parts within tolerances
- Mount, bolt and align all types of equipment within tolerance requirements
- Diagnose and remedy routine problems
- Provide training to others
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Other duties as assigned
These skills and abilities make you a great candidate:
- Minimum 1 year related work experience required
- Previous welding and machine operator experience required
- Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and read written instructions and measurements devices
- Hand dexterity
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, twist and reach
- Must be able to operate and work safely around overhead cranes
