Job Description
Do you have billing experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Medical Billing & Coding Specialist positions in Oak Ridge, TN.

Job Duties for Medical Billing & Coding Specialist:
- Review medical records to assign diagnostic and procedural codes
- Accurately enter billing information for insurance claims and patient billing
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and payer guidelines
- Collaborate with providers and insurers to resolve coding and billing discrepancies
- Assist in follow-up and resubmission of denied claims
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information
- Support general administrative tasks as needed
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Medical Billing & Coding Specialist:
- Certified w/ 1 year minimum of previous experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience with billing and coding (1+ year preferred)
- Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethics
- Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
