Job Description
Do you have knowledge of insurance terminology and a familiarity with the system? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring a Mental Health Billing Specialist.
Key duties and details for Mental Health Billing Specialist:· Review and submit claims and answer client and patient account questions· Post electronic and paper remittance files, process monthly aging reports and file secondary claims· Process credit card charges for patients· Download and process insurance payment files and send patient statements· Pay rate: $16-$19/hr· Part-time, will move to full-time· Paid weekly
Qualifications for Mental Health Billing Specialist:· Mental health billing experience· Knowledge of insurance terminology and a familiarity with the system· Ability to discern possible problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions· Solid experience with technology (will use multiple web platforms and three different billing systems)· Working knowledge of MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Drive apps· Problem solving skills and decision making skills· Ability to work independentlyPlease apply by clicking on the link below, then call or text (423) 764-1334.
