Job Description
Do you have knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing, pumps, hydraulic equipment, conveying equipment, pipe fitting and welding? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Multi-Skilled Mechanic for company in Rogersville.
*Multi-Skilled Mechanic must be able to perform a variety of basic electrical functions in the absence of an electrician on shift*

*Multi-Skilled Mechanic must be able to perform a variety of basic electrical functions in the absence of an electrician on shift*
Key duties and details for Multi-Skilled Mechanic:
- Dismantles devices and equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, forklifts, hand tools and power tools
- May set-up and operate drill press, band saw, grinder and other metalworking tools in order to make and repair parts
- Safely and correctly verify a ciruit is de-energized
- Take voltage and resistance readings, take clamp-on ammeter readings and perform basic circuit checks
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and electrical floor plans
- Choose the right type and size wire, and determine how many wires can be pulled into a conduit
- Pay rate: $22-$28/hr, based on experience and training
- Train on 1st shift for 3-6 months, then move to 3rd shift
Qualifications for Multi-Skilled Mechanic:
- Must be able to solve both mechanical and electrical equipment and parts problems both of a routine and non-routine nature
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, crawl, climb, grasp and reach above head
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull up to 500 lbs
- Abilty to use hand tools, power tools and powered lift equipment
