Job Description
Do you have manufacturing experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Production Team Lead positions in Wytheville, VA.
Details for Production Team Lead Position:
• $20-20.50 / Hour (Based on Shift)

Job Duties for Production Team Lead:
• Collaborate with associates on Line to pull, cut plastic, correct faults, and maintain product flow by stacking and loading/unloading bottle caps
• Enforce proper use of PPE, adherence to safety policies, and ensure safe use of equipment including safety blades, ladders, hopper machines, and bins
• Supervise team rotations between cutting and pulling, coordinate breaks, and manage attendance tracking with timely reporting to Luttrell Contact
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate daily goals, safety updates, assignments, and relay information between team, company supervisor, and Luttrell Contact
• Assist LSG contact in managing team member absences due to illness, injury, or personal reasons and promptly report any impaired employees
• Provide first aid and coordinate emergency services in case of injury or medical emergencies
• Maintain organized and safe work areas while actively participating in tasks as needed
• Support and delegate responsibilities to a team lead assistant who steps in during absences or schedule changes of the Team Lead
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications Production Team Lead:
· Diploma/GED
· Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
· Wear PPE as required (such as gloves, safety glasses, steel toe/slip resistant shoes, etc.)
· First aid certification preferred
· Supervisory Experience Required (Preferred in a manufacturing setting)
· Strong communication, record-keeping, supervisory, and leadership skills
