Key Responsibilities: 1. Plastic Injection Molding • Operate injection molding machines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Inspect molded parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. • Perform machine startup, shut down, and minor troubleshooting as needed. • Monitor material levels and perform material changes when required. 2. Chroming • Operate automated or manual chroming lines following safety and process protocols. • Prepare components for chroming by cleaning and pre-treating surfaces. • Inspect chromed parts for uniform coating, adhesion, and cosmetic quality. • Follow environmental and safety regulations related to hazardous chemicals. 3. Painting • Load and unload parts to/from painting lines or booths. • Monitor paint application to ensure coverage and quality standards. • Perform minor touch-ups and cosmetic repairs as required. • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental policies. 4. Assembly • Assemble automotive components using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment. • Follow detailed work instructions and assembly drawings. • Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify proper assembly. • Report defective parts or machinery issues to team leaders or maintenance. Minimum Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required. • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (automotive industry preferred). • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical work instructions. • Familiarity with safety, quality, and productivity standards in a production setting. • Ability to use basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) is an asset. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods (8–12 hours). • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 35 lbs. (16 kg) regularly. • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small parts and tools. • Comfortable working in environments with noise, heat, chemicals, or dust (with proper PPE). • Capable of wearing respiratory and safety equipment as required (e.g., for painting or chroming processes). Work Conditions: • Fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. • Shift work, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. • Exposure to automated machinery and manufacturing processes. • Compliance with company policies on quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
