Details for Packing positions:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- $13.00/hr
- No Experience Required
Key Duties for Packing positions:
- Obeys all plant/safety rules and complies with all OSHA regulations
- Loads hoppers and feeders
- Assists in the feeds and /or catches of the various types of equipment
- Inspects product and packs into W-I-P containers
- Assists in the forming parts and building assemblies for display of product
- Assists in the packaging of final product for shipping
- Performs miscellaneous hand and table work as assigned
- Performs rework by inspecting and /or salvaging stock as assigned
- Maintains production orders and machine logs as operation requires
- Maintains quality checks and audits as specified by procedure or specification
- Obeys all plant/safety rules and complies with all OSHA regulations
- Assists in the loading of trailers and boxcars
- Completes fill line orders
- Maintains pallets
- Maintains clean and organized work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
These skills make you a good candidate for these positions:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Hand dexterity
- Must have the ability to read, write, and perform simple math
- Ability to work on either an individual or crew basis
- Must have good oral communication skills to work in a team-based environment
- Quality conscious at all times
- Possess strong reasoning skills
- Must be able to work well individually and in a team environment
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
