Details for Payroll Processing Specialist position: 

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire 

• $18/hr - $22/hr

Job Duties for Payroll Processing Specialist: 

• Calculates gross pay on salary or hourly basis, overtime, deductions, and net pay for various small to medium sized business clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis 

• Prepare, file, and submit federal, state and local tax returns and payments 

• Assist clients in recording payroll related journal entries and reconciling accounts within client accounting systems 

• Process and distribute annual client documentation such as Forms W-2 and 1099 

• Complete any other related tasks as needed 

Qualifications for Payroll Processing Specialist: 

• High school diploma or equivalent  

• Accounting experience in payroll and/or bookkeeping 

• Attention to detail 

• Strict client confidentiality 

• Strong time management and organizational skills 

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
