Job Description
Do you have machine operator experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Thermoforming Machine Operator positions in Maryville, TN.
Details for Thermoforming Machine Operator position:
- $17-18 / Hour (BOE)
- Monday-Friday | 6am-4:30pm
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

Job Duties for Thermoforming Machine Operator:
- Setting up and tending vacuum forming machines to heat and shape plastic materials into products
- Programming machine controls to adjust temperature, pressure, and time cycles
- Loading material into the vacuum frame and removing and stacking the formed products
- Inspecting products for defects such as marks, spots, or blurs, and checking thickness
- Performing post-trimming procedures using tools like band saws, drill presses, hand routers, table saws, or panel saws
- Maintaining accurate part counts, labeling, and keeping parts clean
- Operating pallet jacks and potentially fork trucks
- Maintains molds and the storage and labeling of them
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Thermoforming Machine Operator:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of previous experience
- Proficiency in machine and tooling settings
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach

- Coordinate production processes and manage team performance
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Candidates MUST have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Extensive experience in thermoforming processes
- Proficiency in machine and tooling settings
- Strong leadership and training skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred
