Job Description
Do you have experience as a technician? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring CNC Brake Press Machine Operator positions in Streamwood, IL.
Details for Brake Press Machine Operator Position:
- $18 - 30 / Hour

Job Duties for CNC Brake Press Machine Operator Position:
- Set up, adjust, and operate brake press machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and complex schematics to ensure correct dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect tools, dies, materials, and finished workpieces for defects, quality, and dimensional accuracy
- Test machines regularly to ensure efficient operation within tolerance
- Monitor production runs to confirm quality standards are met
- Identify, report, and prevent equipment malfunctions, material issues, and documentation errors
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy during production
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Complete any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for CNC Brake Press Machine Operator Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous brake press or sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to independently complete setups and safely operate brake press equipment, CNC controls, measuring tools, and other production machinery with accuracy
- Proficient in interpreting measurements (mm, cm, inches) and understanding metallic properties and work order processes
- Strong attention to detail including close-range, peripheral, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Excellent verbal and written communication with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of prolonged periods of standing or sitting
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, and reach
