Details for Production Planner positions:
- Full-Time
- Direct Hire
- 8:30am-5pm
- $50, 000 / year
Duties for Production Planner positions:
- Responsible for planning the production schedules and the component/raw material supply chain based on customer order and capacity availability
- Draw up final assembly schedule to establish sequence and lead-time of each operation
- Interface with customer relations, engineering and production supervisors to coordinate, monitor, expedite or defer manufacturing schedules
- Work with production planning manager and shift supervisors to determine capacity and availability of equipment
- Work with sourcing department to ensure all component parts are available to meet start date schedules
- Coordination of outside processes
- Review/audit of final MO issues for correct accounting
- Provide feedback to management and manage all shop floor paperwork
- Other duties as needed
Can you see yourself in this position?
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required and minimum five years manufacturing experience
- Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, SAP and/or AS400 strongly preferred
- Knowledge in Lean Production and Continuous Improvement
- Ability to effectively communicate amongst multiple departments in a clear, concise, organized and convincing manner
- Experience developing and implementing inventory control/supply chain strategies
- Ability to sit, walk or stand for duration of shift
- Ability to bend stoop, squat, kneel, twist and reach
